According to their website, The Latest Scoop is "A lifestyle concept store offering a curated selection of pretty things for you and your home: fashion, home décor, accessories, furniture, stationery, gift ware and much more." Founded in Vancouver in 2004, this cute boutique has gained quite the following, allowing them to expand to 4 shops in the Greater Vancouver area and 2 in the Greater Toronto area.
Prior to the COVID-19 lockdown, they were an in-store only shopping experience. Though having an online shop seems like a MUST in this day and age, not having one never deterred clients from stopping by to browse their carefully curated selection of the latest trends and exclusive wares. In a way it garnered more traffic from their loyal customers and their friends. Being a shop that runs on keeping their clients outfitted in the latest and greatest, it did not take long to move their shop online after the health guidelines suggested store closures. In what seemed like the blink of an eye, The Latest Scoop pivoted their in-store only shop to an online storefront. Talk about working hard and staying on your toes! They definitely deserve a huge pat on the back for thriving at keeping us all dressed up with no where to go.
